James Brown, based in London’s east end, spent ten years working as a textile designer before reinventing himself as an illustrator. Well-known for his screenprints and use of typefaces, his works captures the imagination of the viewer, while each piece is hand printed and therefore unique. The result? A striking and very appealing portfolio. Represented by New Division, and available online through various London galleries, I think it’s safe to say you can expect to see a lot more from Mr. Brown.
